I'm entering my 3rd year and am using 5-10 gallons a week. Keep reminding yourself that it's time to buy a new set of filters, but the meter says otherwise! (and I check the meter to make sure I'm getting accurate readings - with both water and sterile measuring cups). No more lugging bottles into the store without knowing if and when the filters were changed. water tastes like water again nothing clears the head! a little tricky connecting the faucet screw to the sink (quite an apron). I personally don't leave the filter on all the time - I keep one nearby and pop it in when it's time to fill the jugs - I found this out by taking a food grade stainless steel strainer (from a coffee press filter) and 2 small circle in the faucet head (which comes with this filter), splatter completely eliminated - even when I tried! It's much easier to leave this device on the tap and use it between filtrations. Not sure if it was worth it at first but after the last few years with excellent taste and proof to the contrary. It was worth it! even easy to take with you if needed - not heavy at all.
