Really cute kit! Best Crafted

Just received this set in the mail and have to say I'm impressed so far. I bought this kit for myself to learn to embroider (I'm interested in historical embroideries but I think modern embroideries are probably a good place to start :)), and it has literally EVERYTHING you need. 2 needles that feel very good, everything you need for flossing, a nice embroidery hoop that's better than some of the other hoop I've bought at big cross stitch craft stores. Also, it comes with a cute little pair of wire cutters in a case. The floss is well sorted in the organizer, and the fabric seems to be cotton, and it is beautiful, even dark blue, comfortable weight, does not stretch, so it is easy to get good tension. The print is in gold so it's easy to see but there seem to be a few flaws around the edges but they don't seem to be where the tire is. There are also a few gold flecks here and there, but I'm not sure if those are bugs or not - they look like they're for background stars. So far I've only had 2 small issues with this set and that's no big deal either - just small annoyances. 1) The needles are taped to the thread sorter, not in a little plastic bag - I had a tumble and almost fell on the floor when opening the set and I think I might want to wash the needles in case there is any leftovers. Also, the scissors appear to be covered in oil - understandably the steel doesn't rust, but the whole set smells of oil - so I'll probably let it air out a bit before attempting to sew with it, as I'm prone to migraines from strong smells . Oh! Almost forgot - the back of the chart shows all the stitches needed for this pattern - with clear pictures and descriptions - great for those of us who are just learning!
