I'm a serious home baker and professional food blogger and let me tell you these are the best spatulas I've ever used! I bought my first set and liked it so much I bought a second one a year later. Pros: Super easy to use, ergonomic handle, strong enough to stir thick mixtures but flexible enough to easily clean bowls and glasses for perfect cleanliness. The spatula in the shape of a spoon is particularly gorgeous! They make it MUCH easier to stack and mix ingredients. They don't melt and I've stirred hot mixes on the stovetop with no problem. A variety of shapes and sizes make them versatile enough to get into a tiny jar of tomato paste or clean a huge bowl with just a few swipes. There are no foreign odors from the plastic and the color of these spatulas is great! Cons: They can stain if touched with brightly colored foods like tomatoes. This problem can be solved by quickly rinsing the spatula after use. The silicone can absorb the faint taste of strong flavors like onion and garlic, so I recommend getting a spicy food kit and a sweet food kit. Just make a mark on the sets so you can tell them apart. Small cuts may remain on the edge of the spatula when you run it over the rough edge of a metal can, but this can be avoided if you are careful. They are in excellent condition, hand washing is better than washing in the dishwasher. It's uncomfortable, but it's true. Oily feel: The silicone feels slippery even after washing your hands thoroughly, but that doesn't bother me. Unfortunately, any plastic or silicone tableware (bowls, mugs, etc.) retains a small amount of grease on the surface no matter how many times you wash it. Mold Problems: Prevent mold by removing heads from spatula handles when washing. and allow them to air dry before reassembling and putting away. They only go moldy if you let them stay wet while assembling. Trust me, I live in a very hot and humid climate with lots of mold, so if they don't mold on me, they shouldn't mold on yours either. you start mixing I've never lost my head while mixing. Also, when water gets between the headpiece and the handle, it becomes smoother and encourages head detachmentโanother reason to keep that part dry and clean. In summary, if you take proper care of these spatulas, they will serve you well for many years to come. You'll love how they make your baking and cooking so much easier!
