Review on 💨 K&N Cold Air Intake Kit for Jeep/Dodge (Grand Cherokee, Durango) 5.7L V8: High Performance, Guaranteed Horsepower Boost (2011-2019) by John Campos

This air intake is excellent, simple and straightforward. A quick install adds a bit more throttle response and makes the engine sound more aggressive. Here is my only comment. I have a 2018 Dodge Durango R/T. As some of you may know, the R/T has functional air intakes and vents. Where the air filter is located, it sits just below the hood vent, allowing rain to be drawn directly into the engine. Because of this, I reinstalled the OEM intake until K&N made the cap. Which they are in the making and you need to call the company directly to get a free order in the mail. So BE CAREFUL IF YOU HAVE A 2018+ R/T because you will ruin your engine if you exit this intake. on when it rains. Hope this helps, and if you're like me and just MUST have it, maybe wait until this BIG issue is fixed.
