The Lansky C-Sharp offers multiple "V" angle sharpening configurations in one device with ceramic sharpening blades. The set also includes a sharpening rod. This is now a useful configuration for a variety of knife sharpenings, from very sharp but not very strong edges to heavier edges. Ceramic is a good choice for preserving these edges, rather than repairing damaged edges or badly dulled edges - Lansky has a similar tool with carbide blades for this purpose. The metal body of this tool limits its choice as a field tool, but offers durability as a workbench or tool tool for quickly finishing a variety of sanding edges.
