Ok, it works. After a lot of fiddling, I figured out which little thing goes in which slot and so on. The idea is great because who doesn't want a better way to watch movies on their phone. But it really depends on the angle. You can't sit too close (think plane doesn't work), but 6ft will do. Photos don't capture this properly, they distort how the screen actually displays the full screen of the phone so you can't see how well it performs when you have the right distance and angle and it's set up to the right. However, our cat is ok with cosmetic surgery.
