Pros: - Thin line and doesn't look bulky like an old mirror. Suitable for narrower spaces. Well balanced. Has a broad base. My Revlon has a wobbly footrest and crossbar. I like this stand much better! I love that it curves so you can look down on it or tilt it, but that works best for you. I like the magnification and the detachable 10x magnifier. Very useful for small jobs like plucking and especially for perfect cateye lining. A universal plug that looks like my Samsung charger is great. - BUT read the negatives about this cable. - There are cool colors! Cons: - There is a phone charger which is pretty neat. but there is no 2-pin wall plug to connect to the wall. There may be a reason, I'm not sure. If you're like me you probably have a spare 6 laying around anyway. The cord is too short to reach most outlets. But if you're using this on a bathroom vanity, it's probably good enough for a shorter distance. I used my own cable extension. Again, because I have plenty on hand. The plastic is thin and the whole thing is fairly light, but the upside is that it's not bulky. The lighting is weird! I had a severe headache that started in my eyes. I think it's LEDs. But I will know more when I use it. The lighting isn't really bright enough so I'll probably use this with the light I have that has a more natural outdoor lighting tone and just turn the light off on this unit. Update: Yes I will say these LEDs are the cause of the headache after trying again. What's weird is that they strain your eyes due to their intensity, but since it's not a very natural light, it's a blue light, for me they strain me to see, which probably gives me a headache. Since I like mirrors, I leave it at that and just use the different, more natural light I have so I don't have to shine it directly into my eyes. To update! This company contacted me and said that the lighting problem was solved. updated. So you can get a new improved version since they heard the concerns and they fix the problem. It says a lot that they read and listen to their customer reviews! A lot of companies these days don't value their customers. I appreciate what they do!
