I bought this PoE hat for use with Raspberry Pi 4 thinking it would be the best because it's made by the Raspberry Pi Foundation and the official PoE hat is. I assumed it would be the best out there but I was wrong. The fan is very noisy and turns on/off every minute, which is very annoying. There is no way to adjust the fan speed, there are 3 modes, off, medium and high. Both medium and high volumes are loud enough to keep it out of the house. It occupies all 4 holes and prevents use in most cases. It blocks all GPIO ports when it only needs to access a few power pins. .-It is so large that it blocks airflow to the Pi and prevents other fans from being used.-The fan only works with Raspbian OS, it does not work with other operating systems. I have found better and cheaper third party PoE hats. As a result, I cannot recommend this device to anyone.
