This beautiful timer for use in the kitchen or bathroom. It has a small lever that can be pulled out from the back to set it on a countertop, which is what I use. It also comes with a suction cup for a mirror or glass shower door, as well as a hook for hanging on the wall (you need to remove the suction cup to do this). It measures 4 1/8' W x 4 1/4" H x 2" D with the stand mount extended (about 1" deep without the mount or suction cup extended). I like that it controls the temperature for both the room and also lists for the room. Humidity. The clock is shown in the center when the timer is not running. It does not light. The timer works with a very light touch of the lower colored area (almost too sensitive - I accidentally touched it a couple of times set). As easy as setting a timer, you can turn it off. The timer can be set in 10-minute or 1-minute increments and will extend up to a maximum of 99 minutes. When the timer beeps, it will beep again "Beep-Beep" (double beep) off. The alarm clock is loud enough to be heard, but not too loud. The round part on the back contains 2 AAA batteries and controls for setting the clock. The installation of the clock is pretty basic, but if you have questions, will detailed instructions included. Update: I took this clock on a hike in my trailer and clipped it to the top of my bedroom mirrored door, up and out of the way but within sight, and loved having it there. I really liked that the time and temperature display is easy to read. I will definitely pack more. I wish I had two of these so I don't have to move them back and forth with me.
