Reliable writing on DVD-R discs
Very rarely burns through stands with one of these. Reading doesn't seem to be a problem. They say CDs and DVDs are obsolete, but I don't think so. Although I'm making bootable USB sticks more and more, I still use a lot of DVDs to create Windows and Linux installation discs, as well as various diagnostic and troubleshooting bootable discs.
