May be dangerous to birds

I've read that birds can choke on the material if they chew it and birds can get caught in it and choke if it comes loose or lose their fingers on foot. They should not use this unless they are under very strict supervision. It can also encourage nesting behavior if you have a mated pair, which you may not want.
