Best Value Crushed Corn

This is my choice. For the price and quantity an absolute favorite you can't go wrong with. Thank you Wagner! Ducks love a quality product I bought another brand. It was $9.99 and only 2 pounds and it was 2 pounds of DUST! Really garbage! There was something peasant about it - the dreadful Wagners had big grains and very little mess. Thank you !

  • Outstanding Overall Performance

Chickens love it! - Birds

Chickens love it! It arrived in perfect condition, the corn was well cracked and the perfect size for the birds. They love it. We add corn to their diet for winter and cold weather as it helps them stay warm and put on a few extra pounds. We also use it to lure them back into the stable at night. As soon as they hear the bag open, they come running!

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Very disappointing. Unshredded corn. Crushes everything and dust, useless.

Corn without cracks. Just a bag of shredded corn, I can't even tell if it's shredded that well. Too much dust to try and use and it's expensive considering ยฃ25 at Walmart is $8 and better product. Just turned into a dumping ground for second-rate items, it seems to be getting worse every time? Never.

Moldy corn is best in bird seed

We have a four bag subscription every two weeks. We've been doing this throughout quarantine and have been happy with the quality, however the last few bags were moldy and unusable. Very disappointing as moldy corn will harm or even kill the ducks so it's useless and we have to throw it away. We will be giving another batch to this company and when the next one is moldy we will unsubscribe. I will update this review accordingly.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Best buy I've found for shredded corn

Package arrived intact and on time. Cracked corn is exactly how it should be - cracked, not shredded - and looks fresh. I especially like the zipper. This makes it a lot easier to control how much I'm watering at once. Creatures in my yard would give thumbs up if they had thumbs! Pigeons love it, squirrels love to roll in it and everyone else seems to like it too. After the larger animals have eaten the larger pieces, small sparrows and wrens will emerge and eat the smaller particles. I willโ€ฆ

My go-to place for fermentation

Living in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn we don't have many places to buy grain for distilling/brewing beer. You must be resourceful (or rich). This product is now my choice for crushed corn for fermentation. It is conveniently packaged in what I believe to be pre-measured, handy "disposable" packaging. Just open it up and throw it in. Pretty clean cracked corn. Not many sticks and branches. Other products I've used have rocks or weird seeds in them. So far I haven't noticed anything conspicuous. Never fedโ€ฆ

I really laughed out loud today!

I've been living in my garden/terrace apartment for about 8 months. About 4 months ago a pair of Musk Ducks appeared in my fenced yard. (I didn't know they could fly because they're so ugly) ;) Anyway, I started feeding them my leftovers and stale bread and they just gobbled it up. I started reading about Muscovites and found out that bread is not good for them all the time. I received my package of Wagnerian shredded corn this afternoon. He pushed back the shade of my patio and there Ward andโ€ฆ

Popular with birds

UPDATED May 18, 2020 The price of this item has almost doubled since my neighbor and I started buying it. Interestingly, a new pet food store has recently opened less than a mile from my house. A few days ago I was able to buy a 50 pound bag of Producer's Pride Corn Breakers for less than $9 (compared to the current price of $13.97 for a 10 pound bag of Wagner's). Apparently that's no different from Wagner, at least as far as my native birds are concerned. So I encourage people to check outโ€ฆ
