Review on ๐ŸŽ’ Versatile 1 Inch Polypropylene Webbing Strap with 20 Sets of Side Release Plastic Buckles - Ideal for Luggage, Pet Collars, and Backpacks by Carla Anderson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The strap is TOO THIN to work properly with the included hardware.

Look closely at the photos in the listing as that is the only indication the seller gives us that the strap itself is too thin to work with the hardware provided without a double fold. On a micron, this band is 0.040 thick, or forty-thousandths of an inch, or about a millimeter. With the UTRO strap I was able to get the right thickness to make a rotating luggage handle (Luggageworks variant), at least the main piece. So in terms of tensile strength I am confident that this tape will do most of the things that buyers need it for. BUT: IMPORTANT: The single thickness of this strap, attached with the included hardware, pulls out easily. There just isn't enough material, so you'll need to sew a double-thickness segment for the part you'll be using as the adjustable part of your strap. It's an inconvenient extra step required to do what you do, and I don't like misleading ads. SHOULD be confident that equipment sold with a harness is the correct size to perform as the customer expects. I will be returning this range and buying a more durable strap and hardware range.
