I ordered an extra one when I bought a new set of diamond stones. I mostly use this with my 8000 stone. I put it right on top of my other stone and it doesn't move at all. The best part is that it cleans up with soap and water. When you need a surface that will keep your whetstones steady, this mat is perfect.
