Red line of tinder, lights up quickly when ripped in half and consumes about 4 steel and ferro passes. The yellow "fishing line" seems pretty strong. cotton line. Then 9, count 9 seemingly ordinary nylon cords. ? Confused by this, expected a 7. So it's either really strong or they don't know what they're doing. I'm not jumping out of a plane testing this stuff at 550 pounds. I did not test weight. I'm pretty sure it will. A bit disappointed with the lack of strap but for a 9 strand with 3 extra strands I should be happy with the price.
