Violent and reversible, but illegible and strange markings

My main complaint is the legibility of the settings. While engraved, they are almost impossible to read. I've used it to fix bikes and most of the specs are in inches, pounds and newton meters (nm). The scale is in ft-lbs, so I have to keep asking Alexa or Google to convert inch-lbs to ft-lbs. The metric scale has strange divisions: first 4.2, then 5.6. It's in new miles so needs to be converted again (easy as it's metric) but finding the exact setting on the dial is tricky as you count the number of markings on the dial and then the difference between the engraved ones Markings need to be shared to determine what each dial represents. The engraved marks don't seem to match up with each other.
