Review on Samsung 27-inch LS27R750UENXZA 144Hz Monitor by Earl Holland

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Crisp screen with excellent refresh rate

I've been eyeing a couple of these monitors for my home office and I'm very glad I bought two! The screens are big and bright enough for my office. I also use them occasionally to play PC games and they work like a champ! They support FreeSync up to 144Hz and I was able to enable G-Sync on my RTX 2080 Super. The coasters attach to the back of the table to keep everything in order. You can lower the screens, but that means they have to be closer to the front of the table. Monitors can be tilted but not rotated. The stand also features built-in cable management. They come with an HDMI cable, which also includes power for the monitors, giving you a pretty clean setup when using HDMI. They also have a mini display port input. I connect Displayport cables to my gaming computer and HDMI cables to my workstation dock and they both work great. I haven't tried G-Sync over HDMI so I'm not sure if it's supported. The monitors look great in both image quality and overall presentation thanks to thin bezels and cable management. If you need height adjustment without bringing the monitor closer, or if you want to rotate them 90 degrees, I wouldn't recommend these monitors. They fit my needs perfectly. I like the joystick-style menu button on the back of the monitor as it makes it easy to change settings and navigate through menus without having to look under or behind the monitor to see which button you need. I have them about 34 inch Alienware Ultrawides and the 27 inch monitors are almost the same height and they all run at 2k so the setup looks very neat. I'll probably buy a few more for my other tables as they make it easy to keep the table clean and tidy.
