Review on Dorman HELP 55101 Choke Conversion by Udders Sharma

I'm a fan of Dorman products but this kit is a huge exception. The cable is so light that it doesn't actually go through the body of the reel (which doesn't have a vinyl jacket). Back to the flimsy cable and case and the cheap, very flimsy mounts. When pulling or pushing the cable, the cheap mounts flex and the cable doesn't move in and out to operate the choke. The cable bends easily. Complete garbage, removed and thrown away. I used a short piece of flat bar 3/4" wide and 1/8" thick for the motor mount and bought a new cable about twice the coated diameter. Also the holes in the cheap motor mount didn't line up with the case clip. Also see where the cable and spare parts are, this is a big disappointment.
