I used the sampler for the first time. It sliced through the pineapple with ease but left about 2/3 cup of juice in the pineapple and the sliced rings were soft when I pulled out the core. This might work better with a pineapple that's not too ripe, but for me it turned my pineapple into a mushy mush with soft slices that were brittle and lacked texture. I didn't like that he left so much juice in the pineapple peel.
