I was looking for a new PC tool set to replace the old one I got at Walmart a a few years ago. This one didn't disappoint. First off, this kit probably won't surprise you with either the quality or the presentation. There's nothing here that you can't find in other toolboxes in this price range other than a great flexible shaft, a fairly unique feature not found in most basic toolboxes. However, rest assured that it is worth the money and does its job well. The 45-piece precision set has some of the smallest hex and trox fittings I've seen in a tool set of this size, making it less likely to run into situations where the kit can't help. In addition, the adjustable extension and flexible handle attachments make it easier to work in confined spaces. I was initially skeptical about the thin handle design of the screwdriver base. In general, I like thicker grips that are easier to grip to apply a lot of torque. Luckily this hasn't been a problem for me so far. I've been able to hold it tight enough in all the projects I've used it on so far. For me, this includes laptop and PC repairs. The last thing to consider is the durability or strength of the tools. I've only had it for a few weeks, but none of the tips I've used show any signs of stress or scratches. It's still early days, but definitely a good sign. The case feels cheap, but I love how the rows of bits rotate as you open and close the lid to save storage space. I hope that the mechanism that controls this will continue to work for a while. Overall I paid less than $12. I'd say any price below $15 is reasonable for it, but if it goes higher, maybe it's better to wait for it to fall again. Most of this ranking is based on the low price. It's hard to beat the price under $15!
