I have a dog door and needed a way to secure the rear entrance with a dog door. The dog door locks with the sliding door, but you can slide the insert out of the door frame and entry even with the glass shutter locked. Now I get a warning every time the latch insert is pulled out of the main door frame. Now I feel a lot more confident. It was very easy to set up. Directions were well written. Thanks very much!
