I just roasted a chicken that took 2 hours at 350 degrees. As soon as the chicken was removed from the oven and onto the grill, the heat penetrated through the glove and burned the fingers of my right hand. These are minor burns but given the shock of the gloves transferring heat so quickly I certainly could have dropped the pot on my foot and suffered a serious burn. Don't buy them. Gloves and oven mitts are not safe to use in the kitchen. Now that I've washed the rags, they're warped and worn. The quality is worse than Walmart Mainstays. They look pretty when they arrive, but turn to crap pretty quickly.
