A star means I hate that and here's why. The manual on the DVD doesn't match the firmware, which is never fun. Downloaded the new version of the manual. It was harder to set up than other routers, but not that much harder. You must set up your computer with a static IP address to access the router. The nightmare came when I was trying to set up security on the router and it just wasn't working. One would say that security is established, but that is not the case. I tried several different devices when the security said it installed and entered without a password. I downloaded the latest firmware, the result is the same. Rebooted the device multiple times. If you want to run an open network this might be a good choice, but I live near a park and don't want people using my hotspot. I spent SEVEN HOURS getting this thing to work, trying every conceivable setting and reading every word of the manual. Unfortunately, this router has the highest rating on Revain. I would definitely recommend, although some people have luck with this, you should stay away from it as this module is very problematic and definitely not worth the risk.
