without writing everything down, the iPhone app seems a bit easier to use than the Android app but overall we like it me bc I work in hydraulics and like to keep logs of every measurement I take and that just keeps me from getting everything on paper. You can even switch from Android to iPhone or vice versa, you just have to make sure the app is syncing before you close it and you can switch to another device. Very accurate and gives you something to measure your solution as well as calibration solutions which is a plus as you have to buy anyway and it will do for a while. I've never heard of the brand before so was a little apprehensive but after reading the reviews and actually using this device I honestly don't want to go back to anything else. I love everything about the backlight, it's a good thing the old gauge didn't have one so I always had to light it up in the dark to see if I was in low light. I want to get almost everything in a meter with tds to get data about everything. But it's enough as I just write PPM in the notes section when logging, so no BG deal, just another extra step I don't have to do when I get a combo meter. Anyway, great product, you won't be disappointed, just don't forget the distilled water as you have to dip the probe in it to use/calibrate it, so you'll need that as well, it has everything to keep you up and running to keep.
