Review on 28oz Glass Tumbler with Straw, Silicone Protective Sleeve, and Bamboo Lid - BPA-Free by Christopher Bacho

I would like to start by praising Tronco's customer service! I've had the jar for just over a month and informed them about replacing the lid. The opening of the silicone straw has a slight tear. Instead of just replacing the lid, they sent me a brand new jar within a few days. Thank you Tronco for the outstanding customer service! The glass itself is so smooth and looks very nice in my hand, on my desk, on my bedside table, etc. After reading some reviews about mold on the lid I decided to oil the bamboo. Fractionated coconut oil for protection. You can also separate the silicone from the wooden lid to clean and dry. So far I haven't had any problems with mold or anything else with the lid. It's very easy to clean. As for the silicone case, it definitely sweats a lot, but that doesn't bother me at all. I use a stand and the case keeps it from slipping out of my hand. It also fits in my cup holder in the car. Moisture can collect in the bottom opening, but I GENTLE dry it by tucking the corner of a kitchen towel in to absorb the moisture after washing. I didn't put anything hot in it, but it seems to be holding up very well. My clumsy kids knocked it over a few times but luckily it held up. I love to drink cold drinks from my Tronco Tumbler glass and admire its beauty. It definitely improves the drinking experience compared to drinking from plastic and even stainless steel. If I could change one thing, it would be a straw. This particular size comes with 2 plastic straws. Unfortunately, I can't find long enough metal or glass straws over 12 inches in length. Otherwise I am very happy with my purchase! With just a little worthwhile effort and attention, I was able to overcome some of the other reviewer's complaints.
