I thought I bought a lemon and I was halfway through asking for a refund. But I felt that this was a bit premature on my part. When I first plugged my audio head into the jack and USB port on my laptop, there was no sound. I tried acting in films. silent. I tried watching videos on Youtube but there was still no sound. It was only then that I realized that I hadn't fully inserted the extra audio head into the audio jack slot on the Hagibis external USB sound card adapter. After fixing, I put on the headset and . still no audio output. After about 10 minutes of fiddling, I found that I hadn't set up the sound icon in my laptop's menu bar. After setting it as the default USB audio hardware and one or two more tweaks, my headset sprang to life. The sound is crystal clear, no static noise. In fact, I used it to test speech recognition on my laptop and it worked great. And the price couldn't be better. Clear recommendation. Hope this review helped.
