Assuming the local courier doesn't play football with the packaging it comes in, it's pretty good. Obviously fragile. It's impossible to compete with the "ez" type hand-sharpened sharpener blades you see in the ads. This stone gives a good difference in grit to sharpen a fairly unhealthy blade well and doesn't require the whole kit. He does what he has to do and he does it well.
