What I like most is that it is designed to prevent dirt from getting on the car seats, dog hair from flying, but not want the dog's paws to leave a mark since the material is very durable. Second best thing is that it has zippered side flaps and they should prevent dogs from stepping on the doors. If your vehicle doesn't have large sides I would stick with the standard large size, but if it is a large SUV I would go for the extra large size as it will likely cover a large area.
