This seat cover was designed with zippers that don't stay closed. So if your dog even lays his head on the top of the cover, the zipper will pop open. My dog (a medium sized dog, under 55lbs) tore an entire section of the mesh (over the course of a few days he stepped on the zipper seam and it then came off!). The sides that close the doors also never remain zipped. So unless you have a small dog that absolutely never moves or tries to look out the window, I do not recommend this seat cover.

What I like most is that it is designed to prevent dirt from getting on the car seats, dog hair from flying, but not want the dog's paws to leave a mark since the material is very durable. Second best thing is that it has zippered side flaps and they should prevent dogs from stepping on the doors. If your vehicle doesn't have large sides I would stick with the standard large size, but if it is a large SUV I would go for the extra large size as it will likely cover a large area.

It was great while it lasted. I've only had it for my 65 lb pit bull for 3 months and it tore on one side. Pros: Your hair doesn't get caught in the material as much, so it's easy to clean. Excellent packaging. There is a handle on the back of the cover that can be tucked into the seat to keep the cover from moving. It has a material that reduces friction between the seat and the back of the cover. I specifically chose this bag because it has zippers next to the mesh.
