Advantages:1. This is the first outlet expander I've used that allows all 6 outlets to be used without the plugs colliding with each other.2. The night light is calm and soothing and doesn't blind me when I need to use it.3. The touch switch is also touch and response sensitive.4. The outlet draws its power from the bottom of the plug so another benefit for me is that I can use all 6 ports even when the switch is off as my outlet has the top plug controlled by a switch. Cons: 1. The screw that attaches the plug to the outlet is not long enough to work with the outlet cover installed. As a result, I had to remove the cover to screw the plug into the socket. But there is a gap between the extension cord and the wall that I'm not sure is safe.2. The automatic night light function is unreliable. I've seen it turn on at random times and sometimes not turn on at all.
