This is my first board and I really like it. It's the perfect size (27") to feel stable but still easy to turn in turns. I learned very quickly from this! For me, traditional longboards (30+") feel too big and difficult to maneuver , while penny boards (22") feel too small for my feet. Nickel plates are perfect! In the photos you can see how my feet sit on the board. If my heel sags a bit, it's perfectly comfortable. I wear in women's sneakers I'm a size 9 shoe and have enough room.The trucks were quite tight so I loosened them up a bit and this dramatically improved the handling and my ability to lean and turn.The color of the wheels became a little greyish after several rides, but this is inevitable as the asphalt is dirty I am very happy with this purchase!
