This is a quality made corset with privacy panels and good construction. It really did a nice job cinching in and accentuating curves. Worked perfectly for a Renfest costume and the price was amazing as smilar items at the Fest ranged above $70. A little advice on donning this corset with less hassle - always have ALL layers on first instead of trying to pull and tug a skirt band underneath a corset, then unlace back as much as possible for tightening as final step, if you can lay down DO or have help and start on the right, in the mid section - then left mid section, then top to bottom both sides with the hooks, then lean forward on a wall or bedpost (ala Scarlett O'Hara) and have someone pull those laces tight - finally lift your arms above head and twist slightly so it falls into it's designed fit under bust. It does relax on your ribs as you move around.I also love that this corset has D rings on the bottom to tie/hang tankards, purse/pouch, flask and accessories. This really gets a lot of compliments!
