I bought this anchor for a 24 foot Center Consul Fiberglass Mako. The anchor got a bit stuck the first time, but with a little manipulation and a sliding ring shank design I was able to free it and get it back on the boat. Looking closer, I noticed that the "shank" was curved at the "crown", making the stem a kind of "U". After getting home with it, I was able to bend the shaft with my bare hands. I thought all anchors were hardened to a certain point? I think the next time I buy I will have to pay more attention to the composition of the anchor.
