Sturdy construction, but no fastening screws, which is very annoying. As previously mentioned, with a soft top you will NOT be able to see the passenger side mirrors with the doors open. Can't believe they don't have an extension on the passenger side bracket to extend the mirror 3 inches to accommodate this. I had to buy an extension cord on ebay to allow the passenger mirror to be used with the doors open. Note that if the mirrors you are using have a plastic mold * around the screw they will not sink into these mounts. I was able to tighten mine and still use them, but you may want to look at other mounts that have a * mold have notch up if you use standard mirror.
