I thought the lights would be strung on the garland when it arrived. nope The garland is twisted and the bulbs come in a separate bag. I think I'll have to thread the onions into the garland myself. If I wanted to do this, I would buy a simple cheap garland and a set of cheap garlands and do it like this. The garland is beautiful and heavy. It's flat so you'll need to fluff it up before you put it on. I added some wire to hold it up because it's so heavy. and use a hot glue gun to secure the wire inside the garland so I don't have to fiddle with it next year.
