I had a hard time believing what was being said about this item but after some trial and error I couldn't have done without it. Once you get your hands on it (and it's not hard), these hard-boiled eggs are utterly effortless to remove from the shell, giving me the most perfect, intact boiled eggs I've ever tasted, and in a very short amount of time . My secret is that I steam eggs instead of boiling them and when they're done, I put them in an ice water bath for 20 minutes. Then when I put them in this egg peeler and shake them as often as recommended, the skin literally slides off the eggs. I love it and wish I had discovered it years ago. I even keep boiled eggs in it in the fridge. Very convenient! Cleaning is easy!
