Dogs fit!: Dogs

We are lost on our property, in our hearts and on our journey to becoming a spoiled family farm dog. He is a GSD border collie mix and currently weighs 60 pounds of pure muscle. He has long legs and he could penetrate him, but after that he lies down. He might be a bit big for the size we got but he was able to lay down and have some space around him. He was very insecure about this, which is odd considering he has a large metal cage that he sleeps in every night. It comes with a very thin pad with a zip so I think it's washable. My husband loves the fact that it has a zip top, long side zip and short side zip. It was fairly easy to put together but the illustrated pictures for the instructions were quite confusing. Basically you unroll the three way bars that go to the sides and then there are two bars that rotate to meet them and they have an AC shaped plastic piece that grabs the bars you are straightening installed and there is a red tab you use to lock it. in place. The sides need muscle to attach into the corners of the fabric, but this helps make it fairly stable until you get the bars in place. This cage is used when our dog walks around with us as it keeps him safe and doesn't run around the cars. We used a metal box until we decided to keep it and got this for travel and another for his 'bed' at home!
