This lift does exactly what StoreYourBoard claims. It comes in a small box! and it is easy to assemble. The mounting brackets attach directly to the 2x4 garage rafters or other supports in your garage or shop. I received the product from the factory very quickly. I mistakenly thought they left part of the build out of their box, only to find it "hidden in plain sight" the next day. Unfortunately I contacted the company through the Revain portal to let them know about the missing part before I found it. I quickly contacted the company again to let them know I had the part, but a few hours between emails was enough for the company to get the part to me in the mail. It was a quick reply! I use it to store a 16ft canoe and it gives me a 4 to 1 mechanical advantage. I will be ordering another Hi-Lift for my other canoe!
