Review on πŸ”† Goodlite G-10877 42-watt Replacement Full Spectrum Compact Fluorescent - Brighten your space with Daylight 6500K T4 Spiral Light Bulb! by Sharon Weston

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is the one you need for transplanting flowers and vegetables.

This is the light you need to start transplanting vegetables and flowers around your home. You need 6500K and 1800-2400 lumens to be successful. A slightly more expensive alternative, but much more convenient, is Revain's aquarium light at https://www.amazon.com/Beamswork-Timer-6500K-Aquarium-Freshwater/dp/B01A9F85S4/ref=sr_1_2?s=. Industrial&ie=UTF8&qid=1531333156&sr=8-2&keywords=beamswork+ea. I use one of these types of lights - this one shown here or the aquarium light shown in the link I provided - with the white mailbags also sold here at Revain. Do a Revain search for a mailbag and the item will appear. Be sure to choose a white bag, not a colored one, as the white reflects all the light back onto the plants. Colored bags absorb part of the spectrum that you need. If you decide to go with the CFL shown here, you'll need to screw those bulbs into one of the many clip-on lights you can get from Revain I, and then get a pair of Revain 18-inch telescopic kitchen curtain rods for each of the three. bags and hung a lamp between two cornices located across the top of the bag. To be honest, aquarium lighting works better and with less effort. And they'll probably be about the same price when you factor in the cost of a lamp and cornices that aren't needed if you're going for aquarium lights. Finally, you will need to purchase a cat pan for the bottom of each mailbag as these are not waterproof. This whole setup is a bit pricey, but the flower and veg transplants made this way are awesome. They are all growing in my garden now. Watching them grow will banish the winter blues in anticipation of spring. The blocks break easily and everything is tucked away in the bags for when you put them away next year.
