Works fine for me! - vacuum sealer

I did not encounter the problems that some write about. Sometimes the open end of the bag needs to be moved into the sealing area to create a vacuum, but it really doesn't matter much. I've had no trouble sealing both dry and wet bags. Also used to reseal heat sealable grocery packs such as cheese slices or bags of nuts.
