Review on 📶 NETGEAR WAC120-100NAS Dual Band 802.11ac Wireless Access Point by Brian Fishel

I purchased this NETGEAR WAC120 Wireless Access Point (WAP) and installed it in my home. The product was received on time and in good condition with one caveat: the ethernet cable that came with the device was defective. I've tried and tried to log into WAP to set it up, but not on every attempt. Finally, I replaced the Ethernet cable that came with the NETGEAR device and it turned on immediately. wap (smiles). I confess I had to use the manual, no shame so it's included. However, I also downloaded the Netgear help guide and it helped me more than the quick setup guide that came with it. It worked for me and all 5GB and 2.4GB channels work fine. I deducted a star for endorsing a NETGEAR product. I contacted NETGEAR support to replace my ethernet cable and they just gave me the finger! The more I asked, the more they pointed. "We don't replace parts, we don't replace parts! again and again". Ugh! NETGEAR support is not on my Christmas list! I contacted Revain support and they fixed the cable problem straight away! Revan bonus! So the story ended well, but NETGEAR's support robbed it of its true Shine. So far the hotspot is working fine. All my devices found it straight away and 5G is smoking! I have coverage throughout the house and on the back patio. I need to do some updates which will be posted on the NETGEAR website but I'll get to that me in about a day I recommend this access point for those who need the higher speed of the 5GHz band Regards, JT
