My mother has such a sturdy little stepladder and I should have bought one too! It's the perfect size to reach the top shelf (I'm short) and just right to fold up and stuff into a closet (small living space). In extreme cases, if you put a pillow on it, it will become an excellent improvised chair. Also a TV stand. Maybe I'm desperate for furniture. But trust me, this is a great all-around stool that can take loads like no other.
