I really enjoy wearing these earrings. I wear them to the gym and are perfect. They are nonreactive to my skin and do not irritate my ears in the least. Through sweat and long days they're great! I love stainless steel as it doesn't patina. Saying that, As they are stainless steel, they should not be compared to the coloring of Sterling silver they are two different metals and stainless steel well we have all seen the coloring of basic stainless steel in flatware etc even though there are different grades of it one gets the idea. Stainless steel is a harder metal as well, so it is not easily scratched and can toss about and I have no worries for scratches. If the clasps are too tight or to loose - easy fix just get a pocket knife to pry open slightly or clamp down lightly with Pliers or teeth. To polish and clean wash with soap and warm water and use a jeweler's polish cloth. They're basic and easy to care for, cute and light weight. Love them!
