5 stars for affordability and functionality. Use if you are on a budget. USE: Hydroponic room bucket. I have tried several of these pumps. Everyone works the same. EVERYTHING vibrates and makes noise. Completely ignore the exaggerated commercials that it's so quiet a child can sleep next to it. It's a little quieter than the ones I bought at Walmart. Airflow is very average. I use it in a 5 gallon tank with a two stone separator. This "should" do the job. The bubbles cover about 50% of the bucket's volume, but they don't quite burst. Very shy. Air stones work well. The hose that comes with the kit is GARBAGE. It comes folded and has soft rubber. so it stays bent. I think it impedes the flow. At Walmart you can get nice, sturdy 20 foot stuff for a few dollars. I noticed mucus on the tube as others have said. This is strange and requires an explanation from the seller.
