First of all. We have Camco hoses (we just upgraded our hoses and stayed with Camco) on the Valterra exhaust valve. I often found it very difficult to disconnect the hose from the RV (to the Valterra valve) and often used an oily strap wrench which could also be a bit annoying. This key phrase has greatly simplified this task. Thing. I used to disconnect/connect the Valterra valve (1 wrench on the hose and my hand was holding the Valterra side) and disconnect/connect our 2 Camco hoses (both wrenches). They're fairly easy to use and provide some much-needed grip that I missed when trying to grab the hose covers. Yes, they are designed to only fit the notches on Camco hoses and buying them would be a waste of time otherwise. These wrenches have reduced the extra time and frustration associated with battling hose nozzles, and I imagine it would be good for the life of our connections as well if we didn't have to over grip and tear. They seem solid and well made, and I'll update them if I find anything else over time.
