This item is amazing. It feels like holding an electric bug trap in your hand. When it is in operation, it makes a high-pitched buzz, which surprised me greatly. It's not a bad sound, just not what I expected. What I particularly like about this lighter is that my wife has almost burned out candles all over the house and she refuses to throw them away. As a result, they have very deep wicks that are difficult to reach with an ordinary lighter. This is no longer a problem as it ignites without any problems. And I love that it's rechargeable so we don't have to worry about it running out of fluids and stuff. Almost looks like science fiction to me!
