I wasn't sure how these would work sight unseen. The large pad were to be cut to fit the legs of our king bed head and foot boards. They are extremely heavy. Headboard and side rails weigh about 160lbs ànd the foot board is considerably less but heavy. The pads are 3/16" thick and will be used to protect a new bamboo floor newy installed. After a couple of weeks resting on the floor I moved the entire bed to see if any damage had occured. As of this writing no visible damage is seen. The pads seem to have a good adhesion since they didn't move as the bed was moved about the room. I bought to separate kits for different furniture that will be used in the bedroom. So far so good. As of this writing I would recommend the pads and the kit of different sizes pads.
