I had the seemingly impossible task of attaching the legs to this TV stand, which consists of three glass shelves on a steel frame. The only parts that make contact with the ground (and thus hold it up) are the thin 3/4 inch thick curved wood side panels. I wanted to raise the TV stand to use it as a table. How do I attach the legs so they don't stick out? These cleats have a rectangular steel frame with five holes. I chose to attach to the tree on each side using only two of the five holes and left the corners open. These bolts and steel legs are very strong and secure even with only two holes. The corner sticks out a little but is covered by dark glass - in general I think it's a great success!
