I bought a few of these and use them to attach small and large (mostly thin) plastic signs etc to stainless steel (magnetic) cabinets. Good holding power even on windy days outdoors. Much stronger than regular magnets but not as strong as neodymium magnets. I also use them for thicker vinyl banners and they stick well, require a magnet about every 2ft, then repeat for the bottom edge - to give you an idea of holding power. For the price many of these magnets are affordable compared to some more expensive Neo magnets (which I also use for a powerful drive). lightly on each other, you'll have to push them apart, but they also won't painfully pinch your fingers if you get stuck between them like Neo's stronger magnets do in this size.
