Got this as a Christmas present for my wife. She doesn't have strong hands and sometimes finds it difficult to open wine bottles. This is the third opener I gave her. It's the only tool she can reliably use. It is easy for them to use this knife. Simply press the bottom of the rocker switch and the corkscrew will dig into the cork and pull it out of the bottle. Then press the top of the rocker switch and the corkscrew will rotate, popping the cork out on its own. The cork just falls off after a few seconds. You have to remember to hold the bottle when you pull out the cork, otherwise the bottle will just rotate. The device is charged with USB power. No transformer is included, but almost everyone has a transformer or computer that supplies this type of power. It comes with a micro USB cable, so we've added it to our fairly extensive collection. Only criticism is that the foil cutter doesn't work very well. My wife used a kitchen knife to cut the foil.
